Carolyn Oldershaw is a well known compere of charity events. She has worked with several brass bands and has been the resident compere of ‘Boobs & Brass’ since 2006. Carolyn has also worked extensively with the fund raising team and the education department of LOROS (Leicestershire Organisation For The Relief Of Suffering) for many years. Having worked for 10 years with BBC Radio Leicester in the 1990s, specialising in Religious Affairs, she now works as a Senior Producer of Audio Books. She also narrates some audio books, including all the titles written by best selling Leicestershire author, Lynda Page.
Carolyn has worked with many household names, including the gardener, author and broadcaster Alan Titchmarsh MBE; BAFTA Award winning Film and TV actress Miriam Margolyes OBE; and TV favourites, Kathy Staff and Jean Alexander, veterans of ‘Last Of The Summer Wine’.
