Friends of Boobs & Brass
Boobs & Brass raises money for Breast Cancer Campaign & relies on the players & conductors (who are all members of various bands throughout the country) to give their services free of charge. We have had some very generous donations towards our overheads (click HERE for details of our supporters). However we still need to buy music & cover the ongoing cost of transport on a regular basis.
In July 2011 Peter Vine formed "Friends of Boobs & Brass" and will co-ordinate all future fundraising events. His wife Marion (a tenor horn player in Boobs & Brass), had been diagnosed with breast cancer that month & he wanted to do something to help the band raise even more money towards research. 50% of the money raised will go direct to Breast Cancer Campaign & the other 50% will go into the Boobs & Brass Admin Fund. If you would like to organise a fundraising event please click here to send us an email & we will help you!
Friends of Boobs & Brass have raised over £1005 in 2011. Click HERE for full details of the band's fundraising total since 2006

Musical Tributes - Click on name for further details Music donated Frank Dicker Fulford
25.5.1917 - 23.7.2008
Dick was a great supporter of Boobs & Brass & attended our concerts from 2006 until 2008. Rene, his wife of 61 years, died of breast cancer in 2004. He had served on the Russian Convoys in the Royal Navy during the second world war & would be highly amused to be remembered by this piece of music!
