Breast Cancer Campaign Annual Awards

From Maggie: "Just to let you know that Jane, Alan, Keith and myself had a great time at the House of Lords last week. It was a beautiful evening and the London Eye looked very impressive from the balcony of the Chalmondley Suite alongside the Thames. The awards were presented to very deserving fund raisers, supporters, researchers and organisations who support Breast Cancer Campaign. We sampled their sausages on sticks, stuffed tomatoes, & blue cheese on biccies. It was another very humbling night - we just wish we could take all of you with us! We met a very nice young doctor who works on biopsies researching for the cure and ways of improving treatments. Next month when we go to the garden party at Buckingham Palace, he has invited us to his department at the Barts and The London School of Medicine to show us what he does."
