SKYDIVING ADVENTURE
Jane, Paula, Mary & Chris decided on a novel way of fundraising to support Boobs & Brass and the Breast Cancer Campaign. On Saturday 11th June 2011 at Sibson Airfield, Peterborough they were strapped to experienced parachute instructors (!) & jumped out of a perfectly serviceable aeroplane - & all landed safely!
Chris jumped at about 2pm but Jane, Mary & Paula had to wait until after 6pm - fortunately the weather was perfect as well.
Donation money is still being collected but we will put an update on this page when we know the final total.

Jane Nichols is our principal cornet player & founder member of Boobs & Brass. Paul Nicholson is one of our tenor horn players & Mary Golder is one of our trombone players. Chris Vine (son of Marion who plays tenor horn in the band but has not got the nerve to go up in a plane let alone jump out of one!) exchanged his hockey stick for a parachute especially for this event. He is the goal keeper for City of Peterborough Hockey 1st XII which was promoted to the England National League this year.
Please support our skydivers online by making a donation choosing either of these links:
(where all donations go towards future travel/admin costs for Boobs & Brass)
or
(where all donations will go directly to the Breast Cancer Campaign)
